She/Her/Hers
Hi, I’m Nicole! I help teens and adults reconnect with their authentic selves. I passionately believe that healing starts from within the body. Without honoring our bodies and nervous systems, we cannot truly get to the root of healing. I focus on cultivating safety in the body, allowing us to experience and honor emotions that have been buried, neglected, or avoided.
My approach is to create and foster a safe, warm, and honest relationship with clients in order to help them achieve a deep understanding of themselves and their power. I work from a somatic, nervous system, and trauma-informed perspective to bring the whole person to light. I specialize in working with clients with complex trauma/PTSD, eating disorders, substance use, perfectionism, mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders and more.
Before becoming a counselor, I was a special education teacher working with students with Social-Emotional Behavioral Disabilities in Title 1 schools. This experience taught me that safety is the crux of all growth, development, and self-discovery.
I carried this understanding into the field of mental health, working in residential care for both severe mental illnesses and eating disorders, community mental health, domestic violence services, and the foster care system before founding Emerald Mental Health. Through these experiences, I have developed a passion for treating the whole person — not just symptoms or experiences.
It is my honor to walk with clients through their personal journeys of self-discovery, and to hold space for the depths of the human experience. Let’s explore together and get back to you.

She/Her/Hers
Hi, I’m Lauren! I help adults who feel disconnected from themselves — mentally, physically or spiritually. I offer a safe environment for you to reconnect with your body’s wisdom, build lasting regulation skills, and create a space for deeper healing. Together, we will explore long-standing patterns, heal past wounds, and navigate life transitions.
I offer therapy for adults 20+ navigating PTSD, psychosis, mood swings, identity confusion, and intense emotions. My approach is person-centered and trauma-focused, drawing from Internal Family Systems, body-based and somatic therapy, as well as psychoanalysis and unconscious exploration. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, consistent, and tailored to you.
I am a passionate advocate for mental health care. I’ve always known I wanted to work closely with people — to listen, connect, and support others in meaningful ways. I have worked in the mental health field for several years, offering vocational support, providing care for those in residential treatment, and now, offering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to explore your inner world.
I believe that healing your past can transform your present, and I’m here to help you turn your trauma into a story of strength and meaning. Let’s prioritize your well-being and the life you want to build.

He/His/They/Them
Hey there, I’m Mike! I help people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical tools, and a deep respect for their lived experiences. I’m passionate about advancing and advocating for communities historically excluded from care through harmony, empathy, and social justice.
In a world filled with traumatic socio-political realities, I seek to strengthen the person-in-the-environment by creating a space that honors your identity, culture, and individuality. I focus on building genuine personal connection, while offering realistic strategies and resources aimed at supporting confidence and effectiveness in everyday life.
I work from a somatic and holistic lens that integrates compassion, critical thinking, and down-to-earth conversation to support meaningful progress. My approach is eclectic, because no one form of therapy fits everyone! I draw from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness, to meet you where you are.
Before becoming a therapist, I was an AmeriCorps VISTA, a community organizer, and a counselor within the DCFS system. These experiences taught me the necessity of grounding my practice in systemic awareness. They taught me the importance of activism and standing alongside individuals navigating difficult or unjust environments. Through these experiences, I developed a passion for supporting clients as they confront challenges with courage and build sustainable pathways toward wellness.
It is my honor to support you as you embrace your strength and move toward growth and healing. Let’s find what healing, balance, and empowerment look like for you!
